These cartoons remind me of the animated characters that used to dance across drive-in movie screens at "intermission" in the 1960s/70s and sell toothpaste etc. on tv in the days of "black & white". Fun.
We used to buy text bookcovers in parochial grade school with the insignia of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur on the front and instructions for proper study habits ("feet flat on the floor, spine straight...") on the back.
